                                              Skin Appeal Clinic



For those of you who do not know me, I am Neil Pybis and together with my wife Elaine, and Jess our wonderful facialist, we make up the Skin Appeal Clinic.  

 

Firstly I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have contacted Skin Appeal with messages of support and encouragement, for joining in on Facebook to our Skin Appeal Community page, as well as the Skin Appeal Clinic page, our numbers have swelled during lock down. Like many small businesses we have found the last few months extremely difficult, but we have stayed on in there and even had the time to implement changes to the clinic, a deep clean and painted throughout.
 

Your Visit to the Skin Appeal Clinic, as you can imagine will be different from the past, this is now the new vision of normal until we can eliminate the COVID-19 virus through immunisation, you safety is always our priority, we will be carrying out a full risk assessment on the clinic, focusing on your safety.

This will mean a lot more video consultations for before and after treatments, this is to minimise time and contact in the clinic, a new online booking system fully automated, where forms will be emailed to you to fill in and sign on line, so when you come in it will be strictly straight in to the treatment room and treatment carried out.

Should you be requiring a number of treatments this may have to be spaced out over a number of weeks to minimise contact and time in the clinic, we will be having a one in and one out, there will be no reception activities like we have had in the past, no magazines, no tea/coffee etc.

We shall tell you more as we progress regarding any personal protection equipment that you may be required to wear and hand washing facilities and hand gel.

We are implementing the online booking system as this will make things so much easier for you, and for us, as we will limited availability for telephone calls, how ever as normal we will always have out emergency line open at all times. During the first few months we understand that booking on line maybe new so if you experience any difficulty, you can text us on 07973564582 and we can help you.

We will keep you fully informed of any changes that may happen in this time


We have also introduced several restrictions to your appointment some of which have been forced upon us, which I must make you aware of. These include and are not limited to:

 

  • You will only be allowed enter the clinic at your appointment time, you cannot arrive early, or late.

  • You must attend your appointment alone.

  • There will be gaps between appointments to allow our medical team time for cross infection control  and to prepare for the next appointment.

  • Because of additional consents and medical checks your appointment will take longer than usual. 

  • Please be aware because of this that your practitioner will have less time for socialising.

As you can imagine, we will get to see fewer patients in a day and a no show or late cancellation cannot be permitted. We Implore you to let us know at least 24 hours before if you have to cancel, we do not want to introduce a deposit scheme at present, but feel we may have to if people are cancelling on the day.

We are keen to open and get back to work, but it is imperative that we put your and our safety first.

Finally, please let me assure you that we have Listening closely with several governing bodies to put in place a robust and solid protocol which will keep you safe and minimise any risk to you.
